It’s hard to imagine a better way to start the week than to see the Indivisible movement on the front page of the New York Times!
But what about our own Indivisible East Bay? We had so many wins last week that it was hard to choose the best one to open today’s newsletter with. But ultimately, choosing our favorite achievement from last week was easy. Subtle, but easy. Within an hour of committing to a decision, Sen. Feinstein’s office emailed indivisibleeb@gmail.com to tell us she’d heard Indivisible specifically and she would vote against Jeff Sessions. We called and we showed up at her office and our opinions made their way the senate floor. We’re officially formidable!
