Dear Warriors for Justice,

The presidential campaign has been going on for approximately 150 years, and it’s almost over. We’ve got three words for you:

DON’T STOP NOW.

OK, a few more words, but if you can’t read this whole letter, here’s the big takeaway: when the election’s over, and you’re waiting for the results, will you be able to say “I did everything I could”? There’s still so much work to do. There’s still time to do it. Sign up to do weekly phone banking with us here, or sign up for our individual events here. But sign up – we’ll never have this chance again to get our country back.

Got a minute for us to tell you more about why you’re great and why your country needs you, NOW?

You are the heart and soul of the ground game. Whether you started phone-banking into battleground states months ago or joined a phone-bank recently for the first time, you are a superstar! Phone-banking can be hard. But you’ve been showing up – to listen to people, to collect critical campaign data, to help people make sure their voices are heard. Research shows over and over that these conversations, when done at scale, will raise the vote share for our candidates by the points we need to win the election.

We see you – and we’re so honored to be in this righteous fight with you! We know you’ve been working so hard, and we know the work never seems to end. But we’ve got to keep our eyes on the prize. So when you’re tired, connect to the values you cherish and the promises you want to see fulfilled for future generations. If we can win this election, we will have so many possibilities again in this country. Remember that you ARE a warrior. And remember that you are NOT alone. You are with the people on your phone-bank … and also with hundreds of thousands more warriors across the country. We are all in this together, working toward a future with more democracy, more justice, and more joy.

As our own Kamala Harris says:

Let’s fight with conviction. Let’s fight with hope. Let’s fight with confidence in ourselves, and a commitment to each other — to the America we know is possible, the America we love.

Years from now, this moment will have passed. And our children and our grandchildren will look in our eyes and ask us: “Where were you when the stakes were so high?”

They will ask us, “What was it like?”

And we will tell them. We will tell them not just how we felt.

We will tell them what we did.

What will you tell them that you did?

Saving democracy deserves a permanent spot on your calendar. Those links again:
