Ninth Circuit Judges

In 2017, Chief Judge Sidney Thomas, and 33 other Ninth Circuit judges from Arizona, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Nevada, and Washington State wrote a letter opposing all pending legislation on this matter, saying “division of the Ninth Circuit would be costly, inefficient, and would harm the administration of justice in the West.”
