Deadlines: Dec. 11 for Sonoma, Dec. 12 Napa County, and Dec. 13  for other counties

Property Tax Relief
Current property taxes can be reduced for property damaged or destroyed from the date of the damage until it is rebuilt or repaired.
Deadlines: Varies; at least 12 months (October 2018)

IRS Deadline Extensions
Deadlines: Certain deadlines extended through Jan. 31, 2018 (e.g. 2016 extensions, quarterly estimated income tax, quarterly payroll and excise tax returns, some tax-exempt organizations with automatic extensions—see Rev. Proc. 2007-56 for detailed list).

IRS Casualty Losses
Individuals may deduct personal property losses that are not covered by insurance or other reimbursements.
Deadlines: April 15, 2018 (or whenever your tax return is usually due)

IRS Casualty Gains: If your insurance and and FEMA relief cover MORE than your costs
If you receive an insurance payment or other reimbursement in excess of the adjusted basis of damaged or destroyed property you will have a gain.
