CA Assembly District 18 Endorsement Process

Indivisible East Bay is officially considering an endorsement of Janani Ramachandran in the special election for the California State Assembly District 18 race. This Assembly seat is vacant because Governor Newsom has nominated Assemblymember Rob Bonta to serve as California’s Attorney General.

Per Indivisible East Bay’s endorsement process, we are submitting this proposed endorsement for comments from the membership. Janani’s campaign website is here and her candidate questionnaire, which delineates her positions on several issues of interest to IEB, is here. Comments must be submitted through this form by 11:59 PM on Thursday, April 22, in order to be considered. If you’re not sure if you are an AD-18 constituent, you can find a map of Assembly District 18 here or use the “Find My Representative” tool here. Some tips on writing a strong comment are here.
