All Roads Lead to the South – Voting Rights – Overpass Visibility: Adams St. on I-580 Oakland

ALL ROADS LEAD TO THE SOUTH!

Stand with the national coalition of over 90 civil and voting rights, faith, labor, and community organizations as they rally in Montgomery, Alabama for a National Day of Action this Saturday.

In Oakland, the Indivisible East Bay Overpass Visibility Brigade will show our support with the overpass message: BLACK VOTERS MATTER.

This national day of action for voting rights — taking place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 — is intended to bring communities together through peaceful, nonpartisan civic engagement activities focused on democracy, voting rights, community empowerment, and public education.

For generations, Black communities fought, marched, and bled to earn seats at the table. Let’s fight to make sure the clock is not turned back.
