Oakland Democracy Reform Town Hall

As a proud member of ProRep Coalition, Indivisible East Bay is excited to invite Oakland and East Bay residents to a free, interactive Democracy Reform Town Hall on August 19 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at 499 37th Street in Oakland. Come learn how proportional representation and statewide electoral reform can give Californians more political choices, stronger competition, and fairer representation — and meet neighbors who share your interest in building a healthier democracy.

This is more than an educational event. Participants will help shape ProRep Coalition’s statewide reform efforts by sharing their priorities, concerns, and recommendations through facilitated small-group discussions. You will also connect with members of your community and learn how to support California’s growing pro-democracy movement.
