Mass meeting for Oakland Arms Embargo

Every week, essential parts for bombs and fighter jets are flown directly from Oakland International Airport to Nevatim Air Base in Israel. With the aid of these parts, F-35 jets drop 500-pound bombs on men, women and children in Gaza. That is what the Oakland People’s Arms Embargo is determined to stop.
On Sunday, April 19th, at the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California in Downtown Oakland (1433 MADISON ST), the Oakland People’s Arms Embargo is convening hundreds to talk about where the campaign is now, where it’s headed, and how every Oakland resident can play a role in implementing an arms embargo, no matter how big or small.
