Oakland Stands 4 Good: Walk around Lake Merritt

On Jan 11, Oakland Stands for Good by standing together. Protest takes many form, sometimes it’s just taking a casual stroll around the Lake and representing dissent.
This event follows a noontime visibility event at the same location. We encourage attendees to take a self-directed march along the Lake Merritt path carrying sign of dissent and invite you to stop and chat with others doing the same. This is a great way to build community, get your steps in, and make protesting part of everyday life cause we are in it for the long haul.
