Palantir is a multi-billion-dollar, US-based AI and tech company building tools for mass surveillance and militarization around the world. It builds AI-powered tools for large-scale data collection, mass surveillance, and genocide against Palestinians that threaten human rights globally, and was co-founded by billionaires Peter Thiel and Alex Karp.
Across the globe, unions, human rights, digital rights, and environmental advocacy organizations, students and communities have been organizing to cancel Palantir’s contracts with both public government and private corporate entities and call on institutions by adopting Ethical Procurement Policies in addition to divesting from the company. From September 29 through October 1, 2026, thousands will participate in the People vs. Palantir: Global Week of Action across 5 continents.
As a part of this Global Week of Action, NNU is leading a march to San Francisco’s ICE Detention Center as a part of the People vs. Palantir: Global Week of Action on Wednesday September 30 at 1:45 pm, starting at Jessie Square (760 Mission St). More information in this flyer:
