Rally to Oppose a West Oakland Coal Terminal – Berkeley
September 15 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm PDT
On September 15, the Berkeley City Council will vote on adoption of a “resolution opposing the handling, storage, and transport of coal and petroleum coke in the San Francisco Bay Region, urging stringent regulation of such facilities by the Bay Area Air District, and in support of Assembly Bill (AB) 40.”
Berkeleyans active in the Keep Coal Out of the East Bay coalition are organizing a rally outside the Berkeley City Council meeting while the council considers the resolution.
