Yesterday, Indivisible East Bay — and 16 other local Indivisible groups — joined forces to hold a rally and protest in front of the office of Senator Alex Padilla. We then marched the few blocks to continue the rally in front of the temporary office of Senator Adam Schiff. Police estimated that over 900 people attended!
There was one overriding message: To Padilla, Schiff and all Democratic Senators: Shut it down. No more business as usual while Trump and Musk are in the midst of carrying out a coup against the United States. No more voting for any of Trump’s nominees, no unanimous consent given, no anything.
A representative from Padilla’s office came out to speak to the crowd and promised that we had the Senator’s support.
